1953 Turner Formula 2 Monoposto#F2-007
Designed and built by Welsh engineer Jack Turner of Turner Sports Cars, for fellow director John Webb. This Formula 2 car built with a Lea Francis 2.0Ltr engine and custom made Turner cylinder heads. A front engine car producing 143bhp. Formula 2 was very popular in the late 40's early 50's during the 2.0ltr era, Turner taking on the might of the likes of Connaught and Cooper. Good in-period history, highly eligible for all world events, including Goodwood, HGPCA and potentially Historique Monaco. Professionally restored in 1990 and again in 2011. Spent many years in the Haynes Motor Museum. More recent history attending events at Castle Coombe Classic 2016, VSCC, Silverstone 2017, Goodwood Members meeting 2018. HTP's are still current.
