This Fabulous March 712 was campaigned in the 1971 European Formula 2 championship by Mike Beuttler before travelling to the USA the following year for their popular Formula B series, it returned to the UK 10 years later and became a well-known and competitive car campaigned by Alain Filhol in ’89 and Freddy Kumschick in ’91 before being bought by ourselves in ‘92 and raced by Rick Hall right at the front of the by then hugely popular HSCC F2 championship. Rick replaced it with a Lotus 69 in ’94 and the March headed to its new home in Germany where it was cherished for the next 25 years.
