1958 Cooper T45/51#F11-4-58

This 2 litre T45 was supplied new to Nixon's garage and campaigned by Ken Tyrrell and Henry Taylor with some success in both F1 and F2 events. Upgraded in 1961 to T51 spec and fitted with a 1500cc Coventry Climax to compete in F1 events and continued on through the early 60's before ultimately being fitted with a Chevrolet V8 by Chris Summers for Formula Libra events. Restored in the 1980's back to the 2 litre Climax spec and used sparingly since. More recently it has been competitive at Goodwood and at HGPCA events. Benefits from an engine, gearbox and suspension refresh 2020 with alterations to accommodate a taller driver. The car comes with new DCO3 carbs and new HTP paperwork.
