1945 Bugatti Type 73C
The very last racing car designed by Ettore Bugatti.
Two overhead camshafts, crankshaft mounted on 5 bearings. 4 cylinders, 4 valves per cylinder, Supercharged, 310 bhp at 6000 rpm.
In 2008 the car was fully re-built to racing specification, building a new engine to preserve the original. Since completion, the car has been campaigned with much success with the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association, Vintage Sports-Car Club and many times at the Goodwood Revival race meeting in the Goodwood Trophy Race dominating proceedings ahead of ERAs, Alta’s and Alfa Romeo from the same generation.
