1968 Lola T70 MK3 #SL73/128
Built in 1968 as a MK3 Spyder for the US Lola importers Carl Haas. Fitted at the time with the Bartz 365cid 5900cc Chevrolet V8 engine and the LG600 Hewland gearbox. Painted in the bright orange and white livery, sponsorship colours of Simoniz wax polish. Driven by Chuck Parsons in the 1968 United States Road Racing Championship, finishing third overall. This is a well-documented car with unbroken ownership and race history. Five 1st place wins, 9 podiums in total. Eligible for most historic race events including Le Man Classic, Daytona 24hr Classic, CER, Masters WSM, etc. Spares package includes Spyder version body panels, quick and simple to convert enabling it to race in the World Championship and Group 4 races, as a coupe or spyder.
