1964 BRM P261#3
New listing: - A superb example of the legendary BRM P261's, a car with great provenance driven by Graham Hill and Richie Ginther in the 1964 Grand Prix season. Two 2nd place podiums at the Monaco Grand Prix and the Austrian GP. Bought afterwards by Warner Brothers for a scheduled movie " Day of the Champion" starring Steve McQueen. The movie was shelved due to timings and never produced. Eventually the car came into the hands of owner/driver Thomas Bscher who campaigned the car widely in historic events throughout the 1990's and 2000's, becoming a prominent runner in the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique and Goodwood Revival from 1998.
