1955 Jaguar D-Type XKD 534

Regarded as one of the most original surviving D Types. Supplied new to New Zealand where it enjoyed a long and successful racing career until returning to the UK 12 years ago. The recorded mileage of 44,000 is believed original. Currently fitted with a 3.4 litre engine built for historic racing it is also supplied with the 3.8 litre engine supplied by the Jaguar Experimental Dept in 1959. Recently restored to an exceptionally high standard, all original parts such as interior trim have been retained. Sold by ourselves some 5 years ago we are delighted to be able to offer this unique car again.
